Crayon has been acquired by Karma Communications

The Crayon Group has been on an exciting journey in recent years. Hicklin Slade & Partners boldly and successfully set out to transform itself into a truly data-driven digital agency through a combined organic and acquisition route, ultimately with a view to achieving a transformational event for the business. Over and above growing its cornerstone clients since 2008, the agency has acquired and rebranded as Crayon, purchased Acquity and established Walk a Mile and ZigZag, which transformed the business and created an outstanding platform for the future.

Opportunity

Crayon management identified the need for a strategic partner for the next stage of the group's development.

Having worked with the agency on its acquisitions and corporate development strategy, Results International was ideally placed to identify potential partners and lead the process culminating in the acquisition by Karma Communications Group, to create a new agency group comprising the teams from Karmarama and Crayon and setting that next stage for the Crayon team.

Outcome

The creation of the Karma Communications Group through this transaction is a landmark event and Results International is proud to have worked closely with the management team of Crayon on its strategic development over the last three years building towards the completion of this deal

4 years ago we created our six-year plan with the help of Results International.
