We work with many networks across Western Europe, but
increasingly we advise on sell-side mandates from independent
marketing communications and technology businesses.
Overseeing our activity is Jim Bell, Director, Western Europe,
who joined Results in 1997 having spent 20 years with IPG in the
Asia Pacific region. He has been responsible for the Western Europe
region since 2005. In addition to coordinating cross-border
buy-side mandates for groups such as WPP and IPG, Jim has been
responsible for a number of sell-side deals in Spain, Scandinavia
and UK. The region is served by local partners in Germany and
France.
Results International is the only specialist adviser to the
marketing communications industry across Europe to have completed
deals such as:
- The sale of Sund Kommunikation, a Swedish PR firm, to
Huntsworth Plc
- The acquisition of Grand Union, a UK digital agency, by the
Fullsix network, headquartered in Paris
- The acquisition by Wunderman, (WPP) of Kassius, a French
digital agency
While most of the European markets are 'mature', with stable
populations and lower levels of growth than their emerging market
counterparts, together they represent a market similar in size to
the US, with Germany acting as the engine of economic growth.
It has sometimes proved difficult for multinational buyers to
persuade top-quality independent agencies in these markets to
consider a sale.
