Results International appoints Miles Welch as new Director
Results International Group, the premier global corporate
finance specialist for the marketing communications and new media
industry, today announced the arrival of a new director, Miles
Welch, to build on its continuing success in advising agencies to
build and realise value.
Welch is an experienced interim management specialist. He has deep
expertise in business strategy, business growth, operational
turnaround and general management built via roles within the
digital agency world and broader media space, including
entertainment, film and music.
He joins Results from Harvest Digital, where he was interim chief
operating officer for six months, working closely with the agency's
founders to build on its success as one of the fastest growing
digital agencies for several years running.
Earlier roles include time spent within Publicis as general
manager of Digitas London where as part of the leadership team he
oversaw a period of high growth and commercial success, as well as
integrating the new London office into the global Digitas network.
Welch also spent over three years as interactive director at Oasis
Communications (part of Saatchi & Saatchi Group), a marketing
communications business.
Welch combines his knowledge of the digital marketing agency world
with superb broadcast and production credentials through his role
as managing director of two businesses within Endemol UK from 2004
to 2007. As managing director, he oversaw the transformation of
Victoria Real following its acquisition by Endemol, and Endemol
Mobile, a made for mobile content proposition.
Prior to Endemol, he worked client side at Channel 4, programme
managing the delivery of all interactive components for Big Brother
5, at the time the biggest interactive project in the digital media
schedule.
Further experience of content creation and distribution comes via
a series of interim strategy consultant roles from 2007 to 2009
with All3Media Ltd and Target Entertainment (TV and digital content
distribution), and Future Shorts (content creation/distribution),
branded content and events.
